Introduction
This Data Processing Agreement ("DPA") forms part of the Terms of Service between Anlingo ("Company", "we", "us") and the User ("Customer", "you") and reflects the parties' agreement with regard to the Processing of Personal Data. In the course of providing the Anlingo services, we may process personal data on your behalf.
1. Definitions
"Data Protection Laws" means all applicable privacy and data protection laws including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
"Personal Data" means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person that is processed by Anlingo on behalf of the Customer.
2. Processing of Personal Data
Anlingo shall process Personal Data only for the following purposes:
- To provide, maintain, and improve the AI-driven grammar checking and translation services.
- To facilitate text-to-speech and speech-to-text transformations.
- To perform data analysis as requested by the user through the interface.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. AI Data Processing (Gemini & Claude)
Anlingo utilizes advanced Artificial Intelligence models provided by third-party processors. By using the service, you acknowledge that your text and voice data may be processed by:
- Google Cloud (Vertex AI / Gemini): Used for text analysis, grammar correction, and data insights.
- Anthropic (Claude): Used for complex rewrites and semantic analysis.
Note: Anlingo ensures that these processors do not use your personal data to train their foundational models unless explicitly consented to by the user or required by the platform's enterprise tier agreements.
4. Security Measures
Anlingo implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect Personal Data against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction, or damage. These include encryption at rest and in transit, strict access controls, and regular security audits.
5. Sub-processors
Customer consents to Anlingo engaging sub-processors to perform specific processing activities. A current list of sub-processors is available in our Privacy Policy and includes Firebase (Hosting/Auth), Stripe (Payments), and the AI providers mentioned in Section 3.
6. Data Subject Rights
Anlingo shall assist the Customer by appropriate technical and organizational measures for the fulfillment of the Customer's obligation to respond to requests for exercising the Data Subject's rights (access, rectification, erasure).
